A petition has just been created to try and convince LucasArts Entertainment to create a new X-Wing game. I thought some of the fans that frequent this site might want to know about it.

Asking for a new X-Wing game is to ask LucasArts and LFL to change their current practice of creating things for the new Trilogy, to go along with the new movies.

There are one or two that are different, like KotOR, that is based nowhere near any of the movies. But to get a new X-Wing game, wait until after 2005, when they might consider doing Original Trilogy movie games........

How about instead of necessarily a new X-Wing game, just a Star Wars flying game? Any flying game for Star Wars I would probably like.

Personally, a good, battered and well-used X-wing beats any shiny fresh-from-the-factory prequel-era cropduster.

Though I would like to get a Jedi Starfighter and paint a big red maple leaf in the middle. ;)

Yeah, an X-Wing would probably work a little bit better than a crop duster for fighting.
