I have looked up and down the universe for the Grim Soundtrack because someone mentioned it in their advertisement for SCUMM. They called it "Big Hands, Bebop, and Bones". Is that right? Does it even exist? Can anyone help me? I'm confused...

Yes, it does exist. I don't own it, however, and I don't know anyplace that still sells it anymore :(. I'll move this to the Grim Fandango forum because it's more fitting there.

The very notion that this soundtrack exists has set my life's goals at ease knowing they have new company.

Sorry 'bout the wrong placement. Anyway, thanks for letting me know it exists. Now my only job is to find it...

*Wanders off, looking for the soundtrack.*

*She wanders around, having a mooch through the forums, looking for any lead on the music place possibly selling the Grim Fandango Soundtrack.*

Sadly, I just checked and that store...

Does not sell it anymore.

It looks like Isis Kaldara shall never own her precious Grim Fandango Soundtrack...

Maybe you could console yourself a little by ripping sound and music from the game? You can have a lot of fun playing around with all the sound and music files. There's a lot of stuff in there you don't get to see in the normal game too. Or have you already done this?

I can't rip stuff. SCUMMRev doesn't work on my machine. I've visited some websites with sound stuff, but none of them have the original Soundtrack songs.

Doesn't work? What kind of rig do you have?

Um...

I dunno...

It just doesn't work, for some reason.

(I'm very technologically-challenged, but even I know when something doesn't work right. And SCUMMRev doesn't work.)

I really want the soundtrack. Right now, I want that more than all the anime on my Wish List. (And trust me, that's a LOT.)

Well, do you have windows? How fast is your computer? What happens when you try to run SCUMMrev?

Psst. If the soundtrack isn't being sold any more, maybe you should check out some of those evil file sharing programs (http://www.kazaalite.com). Maybe someone's decided that converting the files to MP3 can't hurt sales any more. Hint hint.

You disgust me huz, tarnishing the lucasforms and our reputations by promoting criminal activity! For shame!
(P.S. Send me a PM with more file sharing links, and maybe the name of a good dealer.)

I was fortunate enough to nab the soundtrack while lucasarts had it in the company store online. Never saw it available anywhere else, either. Sorry, my copy isn't for sale...

That's okay. Just give me your address, a floorplan of your house, and tell me what room you sleep in and where you keep your butcher knives. Thanks!

:jawa It was years ago, but I contacted Lucas the (website) and they said a cd rom of the soundtrack was indeed available for purchase. I also know I have gotten several cd rom game related soundtracks from HMV. If you check out the Lucas site, and or HMV you may find this soundtrack.

You know, I ordered the soundtrack from LucasArts not too long ago. Early this very year in fact. It was hard to find on their webpage... I don't think they actually had a link to the order page. But when I heard there was a soundtrack available, I did a few google searches, and I wound up finding the link to page to order it. I ordered it and recieved it with no trouble. It's great stuff, BTW. I can't believe it's a game soundtrack. I tried doing another search but I can't seem to find the link anymore. If I were you I'd contact LucasArts by phone and ask them if they've got any lying around. Can't hurt, and it would be worth your effort if you could find it.

Actually, THAT WAS THE PROPER UNISEX WAY TO WRITE IT AND IT SAID, "THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"

If you would have prefered the English version, "Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasou."

Horrible thing indeed, English. I hate German too. My background is German, but I can't stand it. Not the food, not the language, not the weather, it's all ICKY!
