Playing Fate of Atlantis under XP

Has anyone succesfully gotten Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis to work properly under Windows XP? I am able to play the game but the sound cuts out frequently or doesn't exist at all. The game also crashes alot. I am going to try using a DOS emulator but I wanted to know if there was any way to have it work just from XP. Please any suggestions are welcome, I miss playing FOA :(
