It just wont work. Me and a mate across my city are tryin to play an IP game. I hosted first, giving him my IP addy, and he couldnt join. Then we switched roles, to the same effect. We have been able to play other games this way, and our PC's are up to date.
Why?

You might try using an IM program to set up the game. I've always used MSN's Instant Messenger program to run IP games on SWGB and AoC. So far I haven't had any problems...
