This is rather ambitious. But I'm putting out a call for all Artists, Researchers, and Those interested that The Knight Watch is sponsoring a Blue Print/Cross Section/Floor plan section.

The Goal of the project is to generate plans that can be used in the Star Wars Community. Things like platforms, cargo facilities, ship lay outs. They'd benefit us all from mission development to role playing and story telling.

What would be needed. Team leaders (for each "object"). Web page writers. Researchers (for specs/obtaining pictures of the objects). Scanners. Artitst to draw such things. People who can give tips as well.

Respond back if you'd like to help out. or Email me.

Still looking for people. This is not a new group. We'd work within your existing groups. This is just a little action on the side.

Data has been collected. We're handing it over to our artist. More people (especially artists) are welcome to join us in our endeavor. The next few weeks we should wrap up our research on the Strike Cruiser and move on to a new project.

http://www.geocities.com/the_project_sw/) is our website. When Andy gets off his lazzy ass and FTP's up all the graphics and new pages it'll look nice.

We have a message board. So, you can leave notes for us there.

Well looks like Andy won't be getting off his lazy ass to update the site. He tendered his resignation.

We'll be looking for some one to run the website. More or less create it. Andy hasn't done much. there's a message board, that's all.

Anyone interested, please contact me.

can't wait to see what it looks like!

I'm in the process of making a Rogue Squadron Level Pack for mysteries of the sith, i have to go over and over the levels in order to place everything correctly.

Are you ever planning on doing a skyhook?
 paulbarnard
01-13-2001, 3:52 AM
#18
My intial answer would be NO. Skyhooks are a private residence that basicly floats. There really is no reason to do anything like a house, apartment, etc. The one structure I might even bring up for discussion in our group is the Imperial Palace.

We're over stretched here at the moment. We really need some people to come in and help us out. A couple emails a week and the reference books of the Star Wars Universe are all it takes. Be it the cross sections, the technical journals, guides to technology, vehicles, galaxy guide, encyclopedia or guide to the universe, come and see what we are about.

Our artist is overworked (don't start oni about that underpaid crap either). The researchers are fried. Andy, is well, just one bad monkey. contact us at the_project_sw@yahoo.com

It appears that there are eight compartments (four foreward, four aft), a central area, and the piloting area.
 paulbarnard

Guess it's only 4 compartments...2 fore, 2 aft. That means about 10 troopers per compartment, and things like AT-PT's, Dewbacks and Speeders go in the wide section in the middle.
