Where can i find a demo of this game? so i can try b4 i buy?

was there a playable demo for S&M... I only remember that watching only one that came with DotT and Fate of Atlantis...
I'm not sure where people obtained the playable demo before the use of the internet became popular. I can only remember the video demo from the samplers with the older games.
