I don't know the exact specs on my computer but I'll tell you what I know.

1.a lot of ram.
2. a Nivida Geforce2 video card.
3. A older sound card but it works alright.
4. A logitech 2 button some-thing-another wheel mouse.
5. A lot of processing power. It can run games like Quake3 and force commander without slowing down.
6. A something-another-keyboard, looks like a standard keyboard to me.

I got Windows2000 (upgrade of WindowsNT). It works like a charm! Perfect for networks of any sizes. Stable. But it is just a little wee bit different from some asspects.

As for XP. HA! It is Microsoft attempt to own your PC for good. I herd that the CD is good for only once or some wierd thing. In other words, some paranoid anti theft device. I bet it there is a label on the CD saying: "Once you have installed WindowsXP please brake this CD in half"

Well, seeing as i don't have a network i'm not gonna be getting XP, Win 98 is much better for the gamer. Maybe Window 2003 will go back to the 98 style and away from all this business crap.

I didn't like windows 98...alot of games didn't like it or win2000:(
Windows Me has alot of games that work for it. Even older games like Sid Mier's Gettysburg or Antietem. The only game that I have encountered that doesn't work on Me is Armada...And I've heard they fixed that problem with Armada II so...
