With that tournament, do you mean a series of 1-on-1 dogfights, and that the winner goes on to the next round, sounds nice.(oh yeah, I'll be mailing you tomorrow afternoon)

Something Like a 1v1 tourney. I'd do a 2v2, but only within smuggler/independent groups then. If they were mixed, i'd get to ugly with partners betraying partners. (althought that might be fun for a JK tourney). Basicly a big come one come all (just no Rebel/Republic or Imperials allowed).

Craft would probably be Z-95, R-41 or maybe a Preybird or IRD. Not sure. Still thinking. Suggest something and let's see what it becomes.

I think that you should allow Corralian craft as well. Or maybe have those fight a tournament of their own.

Considering that's what i fly in my group, probably. Thing is the autofire mode on the tourets makes it a bit easy.

Then you should forbid it, anyone who is spotted using it will be disqualified.

no this isn't to join any group. this would be like a tournament. maybe a monthly thing. smuggler groups, bounty hunter groups, people not in groups who'd get together, play some XWA then go home. well since i am home, i'd never leave it anyways. i digress.

A three branch tournament.

Ion canon ships (y-wings and R-41s)
Non-Ion ships (Z95s and IRDs)
and Corts (either Falc or YT-2000).

3 different sets of ships. so essentially 3 different tournaments. could enter only one or all three. if multiple mini enteries, then we'd have an over all champion.

Oh yeah Paul, can you tell what the latest versions of XWA and JK are. I haven't downloaded any patches for JK, and last I downloaded for XWA was the one that gave you the film room.

JK i think has a download. V1.01 i think. Fixes some multiplayer glitch. if you have the later release (paired with MotS) you already have the patch installed.

Well, I got the combined package, so that's allright.
And am I up to date with XWA?

when you press the ESC key, at the bottom left corner you'll see the version number. If it's not 2.02, then you have to download the new patch. 2.02 fixes the film room and something with multiplayer.

I think I have it figured out. Just go here. (http://members.tripod.com/knight_watch_2000/kw_xwarules.html) Read only about the tournaments, then if you want, read the misc questions. There is a picture library. (the challenges are an internal matter with our own seperate tournament going on this weekend).

Basicly, a tournament. There are 4 parts to the tournament. (But 5 awards given by the tournament).

as safe as any chat/instant messaging utility. can do things like make phone calls and send files on it too. pretty much windows safe since it is microsoft.

Allright, I'll take your word for it. But beware if my PC gets hacked.
