So is it just me, but is the battle with Kyle incredibly freaking difficult? I'm saying in this in relative terms, compared with the battles with Dark Mara and the dudes in JK.
Anyway, can anyone help me out with a hint or a strategy? Is there some force power combo that I need to try? Or do I just have to keep wailing on him?

I'm having the exact same problem. The Kurgin has helped me before. Please help us both.
I'm assuming you're talking about the bit where you face Kyle across a phantom platform. Turn around and step off of your disc into the void. You'll be teleported to another disc in another room. Then turn off your lightsaber, step off the new disc, and the ending cinematic should play. It's one of those Jedi nonviolence things. Kind of out of place given the nature of the rest of the game, but I guess that's why I don't work for LucasArts.

Actually, I'm past that...I'm actually talking about the second battle with Kyle, which I think is supposed to be the end of the game.
Well I have tried every possible way I can think of and can't kill him.
Since you can't use any weapons beyond saber and fists and force powers.
No force power seems to be able to kill him.. I've tried chain lightning, grip (no effect), Deadly Sight (no effect), push, destruction, saber throw, even tried drowning him (using push to keep him under water). Even tried turning off the AI with a cheat code, so he'd stand still while I wail on him with whatever.
If you do ever kill him, send me a few screen grabs. ; )

What's kills me is that I've even tried cheat codes (something that I only do as a last resort), and Kyle STILL won't die.
There's nothing more irritating then not being able to pass the final level of a game.

Yeah, I also tried everything you said Kurgan (drowning, all the force powers, etc.).
I don't notice him healing himself ever...does anyone think he keeps healing himself somehow (like the last guy in JK)?
You have to stand underneath the picture of a Jedi kneeling with his/her saber infront of them on the floor.
Switch to fists, and face Kyle, and then the cutscene should play, End game, thankyouverymuch.
