Its amazing this game is about 3 years old and people are still playing it. It shows how incridible it is. It totally takes you inside the Star Wars world and lets you be part of it. I m back to playing it online with friends, and trying out some of the many, many user created levels that are out there to add replayability. SOme of the levesl are very good. I just cant wait for Obi Wan. Hope its as good or better. :-)

our stuff will easily me more original and more diverse.

btw, the stuff we make isnt really related to the JK universe. we jsut use JK cos it has force powers and is a cool game, you can do more stuff with it.

P.S. how cool is that purple "smilie" (frownie)

Surry dude, Jedi Knight Rules over Quake. Its not mindless running around killing but a game with a deep story that you can lost in it's world. The music also adds immensly to that. Very few games today have done that and JK is one of them :-)

No kidding Diablo 1 isn't a FPS, neither is EverQuest, Asheron's Call, Age of Empires series, Diablo 2, Myst, Starcraft, Deer Hunter series, etc etc, or any of the hundred or so games that are far faaar more popular than Quake1.

FPSs aren't the whole gaming world.

But, if you ask me, Quake1 has nothing on JK, except perhaps number of mods, but I can't vouche for the quality or originality of any of the ones that got finished, oh and dedicated servers. But if you ask me, I'd play JK any day over Quake1 (boooring).

But hey, if that's your cup of tea, drink it.
