Sasee (I know I spelled that wrong) Tom,
Well, I'm not 100% sure of an answer to #1, but I do know an answer to #2: Al MacDonald's JK Skin site. There are tons of skins there. There's a link to it on the JKNet main page.

GlowBlades (SithSabers Edition) is the best doublebladed saber/darth maul mod I've seen.

It has the famous glow effect, both blades work (you can turn on one or both), plus it uses a new model so the handle looks just like the movie (not just the texture, but the whole thing is a lightstaff). And of course you can pick your colors.

Pretty neat, plus you get to use Darth Maul (and many others).

The link is: http://home.earthlink.net/~dbedson/glowblades.htm)

If you're just looking for skins, try this:

For Al MacDonald's skins, first D'load ConMan (somebody find that URL for me, thanks), then extract the models.dat file from the jkmres2.gob on the CD.

Open models.dat with notepad and add the names of the 3dos from Al MacDonald, then update the number at the top. If there are three new 3dos, add 3 to the number, it's easy.

When that's done, put the new 3dos and mats and the models.dat into a new gob file and put it in Patch Commander.

Easy as falling off an analog.

And for some more cool (pre-gobbed) skins, check out my site at http://www.geocities.com/mark_a_brown/central.html) . There's not much now, but I have two more skins ready to go up when I get permission for borrowed mats.
