Is there a program or something that will bypass the Jedi Knight CD Check when you first install MOTS? A friend lent me JK to install Mysteries, then I uninstalled it and I can't play it again!

you need jedi knight 2 only once to play it, i don't think there's a way to bypass it, ask kurgan, he might know.

Nope, not unless you somehow hack the MotS install program off the CD (something I don't know how to do), it will always ask for a copy of JK CD #2 the first time you run it.

You could I suppose burn a copy of the JK CD #2 for your own use everytime you install it, but it would simply be easier to just buy JK (hey, I saw it for $10 at Hastings, and that was a few months back). It's a great game, and even if you never play it, the cutscenes are pretty fun to watch. Or you can order it directly from LucasArt's website...

Good Choice, there's a great selection of levels, skins, Mod's etc. for JK to download. for example KOP's trainig base, that's a great level.

... and IMHO it's worth it for the SP alone, which in many ways I find superior overall to MotS's (no offense to MotS, which has superior MP value).

There is a way to bypass the cd check. I've done it. You need to go through the registry. Fisrt off disable the cutscenes. Then in regedit got to Hkey_Local_machine then software then lucasarts then jediknight.
Where it says cd path change that to your jk resource folder. ie cd path = C:\\Program Files\\LucasArts\\jediknight\\Resource
