Does anyone know of a release date for the game.
I have not been able to find any info on it.
I can't wait for that day to arrive. As of now i have absolutely nothing to do, except post on message boards that is. :D
With 126 posts in about two days, i do believe you Tie :D
I live in England, so it'll probably be released a bit later than that over here, but hopefully it will be out before Christmas this year. At least it had better be, because I need something to do before Jedi Outcast is released. :)
Yeah, i can't wait till Jedi Outcast either, but that will be a while...
Fortunatly, i live in North Carolina, and the store near me usually just gets games a day or two late.
Also a resident of the UK. Im gonna import most likely. But the UK release date is about november, but most likely later.
Yeah, i hate it when they put off the release date. I want a good game, that is finished, but i also want it soon.
Plus, if you look at alot of teh games that have been put off, they usually end up pretty bad.
'Fall' can mean anything... I heard that it ships at Thanksgiving.. add a week to that or something and you're pretty close to the actual release date..

No, if you look at
www.cheatcc.com) , they have a release date section and it says november or something....i can't remember, just check it out.
Last I heard the release date on lucasarts.com said winter 2001.
as long as they release it this year, i'll go gradually through the following stages:
 no release date set
:o speculating on release date
:( game slipped a few weeks
:D ordering it
:p :p getting the game in my hands
:D :D :D playing it
that sounds about right, but change the ordering step to going to the store.
nah, that's what the internet is for.
that's what the store is for....
my experience with store-clerks isn't that good. i usually tend to deal with one who doesn't even know what he's selling, but still is trying to pitch it to me like he knows what he's talking about.
What do they have to know. Go to the store, pick up the game, walk over to the counter, give it to the clerk, give the clerk your money, take the bag containing your game, walk out of the store, hurry home and play it. There, that wasn't so hard, was it?
ok. here's how it went before i gave up on stores:
i went to the store, walked up to the counter, clerk was in the showroom answering hotmail, i waited, clerk didn't get the hint, i went to him, clerk didn't understand that i didn't want something from the shelf but wanted to order something, i explained i wanted to order, clerk said i could do that online (he really did !!), i explained i wanted to do it there, clerk got up, went to desk, typed in computer, told me he couldn't find title, i explained it hadn't been released yet, he typed again, then found it (doh..), then tried to explain to me that he couldn't have it there right away but i should wait for it because it was a great game (double doh..), then i explained for the third time i wanted to pre-order and THEN he finally did.
the agony.
so it wasn't quite that simple
That guy must just be a loser. There aren't a whole lot of people like that working at gaming stores.
Yeah, they usaully have pretty good service ;)
Not that it requires a whole lot of service or anything :D
or that you could describe it as 'service' for that matter.
just simple logistics: me got money. you got game. i buy game.
:D :D
This is all you need to be a game store clerk:
Take game
scan game
take money
put game in bag and hand it to customer
say "Have a nice day, then :)"
Not to hard, eh.
My dream job would be to design games, not just seel them.
my dream job would be thinking them up...
My dream job would be playing them...
i'd rather make them Rom, thne i could play them after i was finished, and change whatever i dodn't like,
Well... that is a better idea
Your idea's are always better!
I know, but you don't need to suck up :D
