Hmmmmmmmmm....

I looked up some of your system specs at the compatibility and troubleshooting section of LEC's website (go to www.lucasarts.com), (http://www.lucasarts.com) then choose support), and my guess is that it's your video card. There are a few work-arounds:

1. Try changing the game resolution. Not sure if you're running 800x600, but try it at 640x480 and see if that helps.

2. If that doesn't work, and I hate to suggest this, but try using the REFERENCE drivers for your 3dfx Banshee card at www.3dfx.com) (http://www.3dfx.com) - see, what happens is that Creative will release their own drivers based on 3dfx's drivers for the Banshee, and some of the modifications they make specifically for their Creative card won't work with some games - because we developers test the CHIPSETS, not the individual manufacturer's cards (you may know this, but the chipsets are sold and used in many different boards from different manufacturers). So, it's almost impossible for developers to keep track of each and every manufactured board for a specific chipset, so we have to use a 'generic' set of drivers to test on. Don't worry, if you change your drivers, you almost definitely won't see any differences.

hmmmmmmmm, that once happened to me before. I was using the crappy S3 virge chipset. It only played the first level when obi wan and Qui gon are talking, but when it comes to the action, the game freezes and I had to restart my computer. I fixed the problem, by going into System, in the control panel. I went into Device Manager and I found out that there was a conflict with my video card. Check the your display in the Device Manager and make sure there are no conflicts.

Thank God I got rid of that Virge and got a brand new Voodoo Banshee. http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/smile.gif)
