I'll tell you, we sure had a good time making TPM. The PSX version was nowhere near what we wanted it to be, but the PC version came together pretty well. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, and the hardcore gamers were REALLY mad at us because, well, it's not a hardcore-type of game.
Our biggest problem was the immovable timeline for the game. It HAD to come out at the same time as the movie, and thus a lot of cool little things got axed. We were going to have a lot of features that wound up being in Jedi Power Battles: a drivable AAT tank and STAP, and we also toyed around with a drivable Gungan Bongo sub that you'd dodge underwater critters with.
Anyways, I appreciate the fact that the game still gets played, and also that it can be a lot of fun. I just saw that TPM PC is on sale for 20 bucks at Electronics Boutique, and also the PSX version is now $19.99 at all kinds of places. Tell your friends
