My kids and I get stuck trying to get to where Jar Jar is. He say to use the logs or the box or something and we can't figure out what to do. He's up there, and we're stuck down below with no way up. If only we could jump higher! Can someone help?

There's a log (box) not far away from where Jar-Jar is standing. You can see a little trail on the ground leading to the base of Jar-Jar's pedestal. Walk up to the box, hit the 'use' button, then start moving. You'll grab hold of the log and start pushing it. Push it along the little trail to the base of Jar-Jar's perch, then jump onto it, then up.

Thanks for your help. We are new to Playstation and don't have Phantom Menace documentation. Which button is the 'use' button? Thanks again.

Errmmmm...uhhh...let's see...I believe it's the Square button...hmmm...

X = jump
O = Swing/fire
Tri = Force
Square = Use

I could be wrong, so try any of the above http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/wink.gif) Press a button, and if you don't jump, swing or use the Force, then you've pressed the right button http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/wink.gif) Then go to the log, press that same button, and then immediately press either up or down to get moving.

Good luck, and please come back and let us know what you think of the game http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/wink.gif)

Zanzibar,

Thanks. The kids have moved on to level three thanks to your help and I look like Hans Solo for telling them how. We had not tried using the arrow keys in conjunction with the other button. As for me, there is hope now that I've completed level 1.
