I have to ask anyway...i was wondering the actor that plays Palpatine/Emperor in ep2...is he the same guy that played the emperor in the Original Trilogy.
ACTUALLY, only partially... Ian McDiarmid played Palpatine/Sidious in Ep I, Ep II, Ep III, and Ep VI... Now don't bite my head off quite yet... This is a referenced fact, the emperor was played by a woman with different make up and a cloak for the transmission in Ep V. The voices don't match up either if you check. And yes, this is true... But the short answer is yes, McDiarmid DID play the Emperor in other flix
