in the scene, where count dooku meets with the leaders of the trade guild, bankers guild and so on, obi wan is so damn nearby and can hear everything, they are planning. why doesnt count dooku feel a disturbance in the force and is aware of obi wans presence? did i miss something?

The easiest answer is that maybe he doesn't care.

Or maybe he does know.

Prehaps the plan was to let Obi-Wan inform the council so that the Jedi would turn up and they could kill more of the Jedi. - They did want the war to start after all and that could have been one of the catalysts for it to happen. Then Yoda arrived with the Clonetroopers and ensured that the Clone War would begin.

Or maybe he was blinded by the dark side as the other jedis

I think Obi-Wan masked himself with the force...oh well...
