Whats to stop the majority of people falling to the dark side? Yoda was always warning against it, but he also said it was easier, more seductive etc. And it's more destructive(which is what some people would love).

Is that how things are meant to be? A majority of dark jedi and only a handful of good ones? Or will there be some serious downsides to being evil? Every man and his gerbil appears to want a Dark Jedi membership card.

Well, I think they are dealing with that in part by making people become Jedi first and then fall to the dark side. That way it isn't easier.

I thought of that, but there's a lot of people around who want to be a dark jedi. A lot more than who want to be a light jedi. Or maybe they're just more visible.

Oh I think it'll balance out, probably each type of jedi, light or dark will have some special abilities that the other doesn't.

There will have to be something that distinguishes them, if the dark jedi can be more distructive (e.g. lightning) then the light jedi will have something like super healing or something like that.

My opinion is that a dark jedi will be more effective on their own while a light jedi would be better in a group.

well i read somewhere that in order to be a dark jedi... you first need to become a lihght jedi. i think this is the case.. so a lot of the folks will not even become a jedi.. so there wont be that much of a problem :D

And I believe that that is what the dev's are thinking.

Well it would be unrealistic if they did it any other way....That's how it happened in the movies, that how it should happen in the games.

no, no one dies from old age or just being around for a long period of time. Other than possible force power benefits such as heal, no one will live longer than anyone else or die sooner than anyone else.

We don't know that yet, or at least I don't. I know in a pvp war if you die you spawn outside of the battlefield and cannot reenter until the battle is over, but other than that nothing. It will most likely be random or at the start of a "dungeon" area (supposing you were to die in a "dungeon" area) though.

haha....well, I don't rightly know what ships will be in the expansion, but you'll be able to do all of that (except maybe not in those ships) =) God this game is going to be awesome.
