ok, hello there, new guy. now that's out of the way, i need some help with downloading skins and stuff from the jkII site. when I dl the zip files, the winzip opens, ask me where i want it, and from there i usually end up sending the file to folder limbo. what do i need to do? help!:(
extract the pk3 files inside the zip to the gamedata/base folder
? say that again in english......? i really need a step by step. so i do extract? when I choose extract, type in C:/ blah blah blah, and send it there, it should appear in my game?
You double click on the *.zip file, winzip opens
select the *.pk3 files
click on extract files
there type c:\gamefolder\gamedata\base (gaefolder is by default something like c:\program files\lucasarts\star wars jedi knight II jedi outcast, browse your HD to find the folder where you installed it
extract
play the game =)
