Ok, this is going to sound like a standard "i'm behind a router" issue, but it's not, so bear with me.
As I posted in another thread - I had the 1.02c Win32 server working fine behind my 2Wire Homeportal 100 router. I had set it to forward both TCP and UDP ports 28060 - 29000 and people could direct connect and it was listed in the in-game server list. Just for general troubleshooting info, I have to have both TCP and UDP forwarded, otherwise, the 2Wire decides to block incoming traffic on that port regardless of what protocol the packets are sent in.
Alas, as my luck would have it, the router died, however, it was still under warranty. I've since received a replacement which looks the exact same but has a newer version of the firmware (and, oh so unconvieniantly, can't be downgraded to a previous version).
I set up the exact same settings as I had before and got a few of my friends to attempt connecting. Also, I upgraded the Win32 dedicated server to 1.03c. All of the sudden, they couldn't connect nor was it listed in the in-game server list. Ok, so I decide to snag the ASE to see if it shows up there. It showed up as a LAN game, but not in the FFA list.
After reading some of the posts here, I doublechecked my jk2mp config and discovered that somehow the net_ip had been set to the internal IP, which it had not been before (probably a boneheaded mistake on my part in my haste to get it running again). I removed this and checked my server.cfg to make sure there was no variable set for net_ip. There wasn't. I shut down the server, rebooted the machine and started the server up again.
Now it appears in the ASE's list of FFA games, but I'm not sure anyone can connect and it only appears on my local machines as a local game. Here is my current server.cfg (

I have this nagging feeling that I'm missing something because I can host games through so-called 'matchmaking' systems (i.e. zone, gamespy) just fine from that machine, yet this doesn't appear to be working.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated and, if you don't want to clutter up the forums, feel free to e-mail me - darthperniciosus@cox.net. This is one of those times where I feel like beating my head into a wall, as I deal with issues like this using a much more advanced router on a medium sized network at work, yet, can't get this silly thing to work on a podunk 2Wire at home...
