Jump Alt fire problem

I can't figure out why but (since the patch) when I jump it also alt fires when releasing the jump button. I un-installed the game. re-installed, no problem untill the patch is loaded. Im running win2k. No one else seems to have this trouble. Raven, anyone please help. :confused:
