Ok I installed the dedicated version of jk2 to my Slakware box. However, when I run the command
./jk2ded +exec server.cfg
during the "Game Initilization" stage I get the following error,
"Segmentation Fault"

also I have also noticed that at the beginning of the startup i get 2 errors,

"couldn't exec jk2mpserver.cfg"
"couldn't exec autoexec.cfg"

I installed everything according to the instructions.

Also, another problem I am having is that I noticed it set the server ip address to 127.0.0.1. I am behind a netgear router, could this be a problem\?

Any ideas??
please help
thankyou

You need to copy the .pk3 files from the base directory on your JO CD along with the assets2.pk3 file from the 1.03 patch to a /base directory where you put your jk2ded file.

ok I updated to 1.03 and the server will run. However, it will not register with any servers like gamespy. I wrote a raven server into the cfg file but still nothing.

I am almost sure my problem is my netgear rt311 router. I set the router to bypass port 27015 on 192.168.0.3 (the slackware box). Then I set port to 27015 in the cfg file. Is this right?

thanks for the help
