I just upgraded from windows ME (millenium edition) to XP, and xp is pretty good in my opinion (doesnt crash as much as ME), but i've noticed that my ping is higher now that i'm on XP, it used to be about 50-100 (im on broadband by the way) but now its nearly always 100+, and its not because im using different servers to the ones i played on with ME. their UK servers (which are usualy least laggy for me cause im in the uk). anyone know any ways to tweak my xp connection back to what it was like with ME?

Go to www.cablenut.com), and this tweaks your com card.
I'm using Xp home and it solved my problem.
