Yes, you read right, the Beast is getting a college diploma. http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/cool.gif)

A provisional diploma, actually, since I still have six weeks of Spring Semester (read: Summer School) to get all my hours.

I just got a (mom's nagging-induced) haircut, and a new suit. For the first time, I know I look good, the black button-down shirt makes me look kinda like Angel (formerly of Buffy the Vampire Slayer). http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/biggrin.gif)

Grad's done. As predicted, I looked damned good. http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/cool.gif)

The day began with bright sun and warm temperatures for those graduating in the morning.

Then the clouds rolled in

Unfortunately, my (the General Arts & Science) ceremony was at 2:00, and a torrential downpour started at 1:59 and continued into the night. Fortunately, the convocation itself was indoors. By the time the convcation ended, the refreshment tent was flooded and the gift tent was floating down-field.

Now, six weeks, then it's home until I hear from Ottawa U. or Carleton. Then I'll be apartment hunting in Ottawa.

Congradulations, sorry to hear about the mythical "torrential downpour"

I got wet trying to get my dilpoma too. When Bango lit the claw machine on fire for cheating, the firemens' hoses splashed me.

Bad monkey Bango!

EEK! EEK! i bit the fireman! He gave me a bananna, then i bit him again! EEK! EEK!

Good luck and MTFBWY.

As a fellow graduate the real world really blows I loved the option to go to class or the beach or to just take another week off after Spring break but in the real world no such luck that is messed up i thought collage was ment to prepare you for the real world. Oh well Congrates man and good luck in what ever you do.

As one of my teachers said:

. . .because this college is based on what the administration naively calls the "real" world.
