that preferred the previous look of our fave forum....
OH GREAT! A members rating system.. that's only going to cause fights... "Hey... how come I'm only rated 3 while Mr.[name here] is rated 5" etc... *incredibly deep sigh*
dont worry. i gave you a 4 :)
lol...
You can turn your rating system off, it's really no big deal. I give everyone 5's here in this thread because I am in a good mood today :D
I agree with Pedro.
The new format is hard to read, and I don't like the having to sign in before you're allowed to reply.
I don't see any new features (just the old ones made more complicated/irritating), which leads me to quote myself from another thread:

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Why do humans feel so compelled to upgrade themselves into oblivion?

I can tell by the grunting sounds that my mother's PC is making that it's a few moments away from crashing, so I'd better leave now.
Check it out now, I think it looks a lot better than it did.
Thanks Aristotle. ; )

I just noticed that there's a new rank. "Jedi Master" How many post are required to be a jedi master?
Great. Now have to scroll sideways in order to do anything.
The red text and outlining is hurting my eyes.
Relax... we're just playing around with different stuff, we'll eventually settle on something that should be good. ; )
"Jedi Master" is actually an old rank (as old as the others). It signifies somebody who is a Moderator, but not an Admin.
Admins are Jedi Council and have more powers than Jedi Master (Moderators).

I can't see anything much that has changed
except the colors, the format, this login/logout thing, everything is every which ways, and I can't tell which ways up
anything else we can think of
BTW, I haven't been on here for a while because I was off attempting to find a job and didn't get to use my computer that much :D

Bwhahahahahahaaamwhaaahahahaaawayahyyayahaahaha... lol :D
I like the new look a lot better than the old one.
Makes it more different from other UBB forums, which all looks the same.
Good job!
I think it's an improvement. Nice instant UBB features too.
Some of the features are Snowboard-esque too.
Kurgan, any plans to update the owk.net forums?
It is well, is.... Not sure if i like it...
I'm sure Aristotle will be setting up the others soon ehough.

Anything that simplifies life and makes idiots have access to things I am against. I long for the good ol' days of the Golden Horde and the Spanish Inquisition.
NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!
That is why I bring it up. Suprise, but now that you have been suprised, I retreat it and instead, bring up Hanibal and his great Army!!!!!
Bah! A few mice and all his elphants will stampede!
I really like the new colors. They look good, and all the text is easier to read now. Previously the message headers were like - black on dark gray and were very difficult to read.
Very nice :)
Warning, big rant ahead: I don't like the yellow as the boarder. It just jumps out at you too much. Something that would settle down back into the page would be better. A silver color maybe? (Like there isn't enough of that. ;))
EDIT: If nothing else, the color of the timestamp would work. (I just noticed it, don't laugh. ;))

the software running this new mb isn't exactly very 'cohesive' as i've had trouble logging in recently since the new changes were implemented.
