caulk texture?

r u sposed to use it?

and will applying the caulk texture to unseen surfaces speed up frame rate on a map?

But basically you want to caulk texture and sides of brushes you don't need or want seen so the engine will ignore them and not draw them. Ex. A large complicated map that makes use of the caulk texture should run faster than that same map made without any caulk texture.

I make every single brush in caluk texture and then texture any seen faces afterwards. This is the most efficient method of using caulk
