Hey everyone,
An annoyance at best, downright frustrating the rest of the time, is the fact that all sounds (ie. music, voice, effects, etc.) are all delayed by a few seconds.
Not a split second....we're talking: pull the trigger....one mississippi, two mississippi, three mississi...then the laser sound.

I've tried lowering graphic resolution and effects, but it didn't seem to help. Running everything at "low" quality improved the speed of the graphics, but not the delayed sounds.
My specs are:
Abit KT7A RAID
Athlon T-Bird 1.4 (cooled by Arkua)
512 mb SDRAM (cl2)
GeForce 2 MX 400 (64 mb)
SB Live! 5.1
Maxtor 40 ATA 133 @ 7200

BTW, all background apps are quit with the exception of systray and explorer, all latest drivers are installed (Detonator, SoundBlaster, etc...)
Not sure what else I can do.
Any and all help is appreciated.:D
