Ladder level - Did I miss something?

I've seen the hints that there may be a ladder level that exists, and lately I've seen several posts referring to a ladder level. I've been in Malibu for a while(hot girl city) and away from my computer, so have I missed something?

Oh yeah, and have fun. =)

Definately gave me the most enjoyment of the game, after I beat single player that is... :p
