I have gotten to the hover train room where if you stay inside to long it locks you in and kills you. What do i do here. Its the room where there is a frying astromech droid

you got to go to that tube thats moving in and out of the canyon wall, go through it ( you'll figure it out ;) ), and destroy everything in there (pipes,machine).
Then you go where the machine was and ride up.
Climb that sloped thingy and jump onto one of the "hover trains"
