Does anybody know anything about these particular cards? Are they any good. They seem to be cheap enough... about $250.

Yes the GF4 Ti line are some awesome cards...pretty much best of the best.

You can look here GeForce 4 Ti (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=geforce4ti) and it gives you the complete specs.

I have a friend who has one and from what I have seen, it is an awesome card and the 4600 is even better by like 15% or so.

A Ti 4400 can be overclocked to the Ti 4600 range easily without much in the way of additional cooling. Ti 4400 is the way to go and still save yourself $100-$150. Though, granted, a Ti 4600 can overclock higher...

But for the money- Ti 4400.
