I'm sure you guys at this wonderful site have already come up with it (ok enough sucking up, lol, no i really like it) but I thought I'd post it anyway...
A good idea for a forum when THE game is released IMHO, would be a Dedicated Server IP Board... Where users can post the IP of their (own or favorite) dedicated server.
Now you might say, well ya got an ingame browser, BUT, it seems to be a good way to know where your fellow forum go-ers are playing, and you get to know which servers are good etc.
In case such a forum is made, dont forget to put the default thread display to like a month, showing threads from just the past 5 days would be a bit silly with dedicated servers....

I propose a board purely for advertising your server(s)

I was under the impression that that board was indeed for posting the IP address and other information for people's servers.
After reading the description of the board, I suppose you're right. I like your idea, too.
I really think that the makers of JO had to slipper vogels slipperz instead of what they have done, so, i'll just say it again, please slipper vogels slipperz next time
