Im in year 4 and in the casino. im tryin to get charlie to win but the army person isnt there and i cant get out the door into the underground sewer or even go into the toilets. but i can hear the army persons wheel going squeak squeak but he is definetly not there. PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Unfortunately, it's a bug. You need to restore a previous game.
I've got the exact same problem, but what can I do about it? I mean, I could probably get a saved game from someone earlier in the game, but the problem will still be there right? I need to talk to the guy in the raincoat and if the game will bug out when I do that, what's left to do? Any help is appreciated.

It looks like Grim Fandango Central (
http://gfc.grimfandango2.com) is planning to add some savegames to it's available downloads, so perhaps this won't be such a hassle in the future.
You May have to start over from ur last saved game posistion because throughout the game with or with out the patch GF has some issues where if you dont do things in a spesific order some things get buggy.
Also what os and video card are u using because GF may not be 100% compatible with windows xp and also there are many video card issues like with the voodoo series sence 3dfx is gone they may not be supported.
