It seems, however, that the majority of the thing was cancelled due to rain (in the desert, I should point out), which is just as well, because except from all the discipline I despise, I returned home with a temperature of 311.16 Kelvin (or 100.4 Fahrenheit, or, most conveniently for me, 38 Celsius), so I probably wouldn't have done much if I had stayed there anyhow.
I could go on and on about how much I hated it, but after a friend who'd been to this thing before me has tried explaining it to me, I realized that I couldn't possibly convey all that unpleasantness, so I'll just say that the army, any army, is an evil, evil organisation, and you should avoid all contact with it as much as you possibly can.

There's no more snow in the world anyway. There's maybe two weeks during January where it's too cold to go around barefoot outside and that's it for winter. We're supposed to have temperatures in the 60s tomorrow, in the middle of February.

And as for not posting, we just started a new semester, and I've been working on stuff for the end of last semester and the beginning of this one. I'll try to post more often, I promise.
