you could always make your own compliation by using ScummRev to take the songs and then apply them to a CD with any program of your choice

The quality of the in-game music isn't quite as good as the actual soundtrack CD. I would try to blatantly pirate the soundtrack from some kind of file sharing thing (WinMX etc), since they refuse to allow us to buy it legally...

You can buy the Grim Fandango OST from synsoniq.com, I know they deliver to the UK because I have ordered from them in the past - very reliable.

Or could download the mp3s from this site - http://aventuraycia.metropoli2000.com) (also check out the mp3s of the dig)

I doubt that. Napster will try to do it's pay-service thing, fail miserably, and Audiogalaxy will reign supreme, for better or worse.

Aye, Napster was better than anything that's out there now, but IMHO Audiogalaxy is the best of the Napster-clones.

I have to disagree with you Metallus. I like Morpheus, available at www.musiccity.com) (i think.....). Not only can you find a huge selection of music, but movies and software too........

Take THAT, audiogalaxy...

In my humble opinion:

:barf: Morpheus/KaZaA

They've never worked well for me, and I have tried both several times. You can't find any rare stuff on them, and if you do, chances are that the connection will be crappy, and there won't be any mirrors. So if you have no taste and just go for mainstream stuff, choose Morpheus.

Morpheus and Kazaa are also great if spyware is your bag, baby, by all accounts. Then again I think most "free" Windows software is going that way.

Depends on whether they're trying to make money off of it. There is a lot of free/ad-free software around.

I did a search on "Soundtrack Grim Fandango" and found this among the results. Check out the familiar names on this ancient message board (http://www.telefragged.com/message_boards/highland/messages/443.html)!)

Swordmaster = LucasFans webmaster
telarium = Mojo Staff/Highland Productions
Adrian Bashi = Indigo Island project leader

Exciting!!

I use WinMX and I am completely happy with it. Sometimes there are queues, but most of the time it is fast and efficient. No ads on it, and nothing else is installed besides WinMX (such as Kazaa, where that damn spyware 'EzulaMAIN' is installed, claiming to be an ad program). Plus you can get moves and pics and junk on it too.
