Having not played the demo yet, and being an Age of Empires freak I would like to know from you who do, how GB compares to the slick gameplay of AoE!!!

Please tell me Game didnt lie to me when they said it was out on the 16th of Nov???!!!:(

It was supposed to be the 16th in the UK but that is looking unlikely, with both Electronics Boutique and Amazon claiming the 23rd for release :(

and it still has the slick gameplay :) grab yourself copy of pcgamer for the demo.

Is the demo compatable with the downloadable multipayer version?

It's the same thing, multiplayer option is in the demo

GB is as good, maybe better than AOE because.... it's Star Wars.

There Isn't Much diffrence between the two games but gb is better because it has got Air Units

I am at a disadvantage. I have never played demo or AoE. I wait.

I think Galatic Battlegrounds will be a much better game than AOK....I hired AoK recently and let me tell you....it was a great game (as you all know) but I played the GB demo more than I played AoK.....

And because its Star Wars and has air units, shield generators etc thats more reasons why its better...

(But AoK still rocked)

aok is awsome, because of the large battles and stuff like that, gb should be just as good probably better when the full version comes out.

AoK is a great game and I plan on still playing it after BG comes out. Bg gameplay is almost the same as aok with only a few differances. If you liked aok and you like sw you'll love bg.

AOK was a great game, but GB will beat it, unless you hate Star Wars and love the Middle Ages.

yea I think that GB will be way better than AOK because its so much......well its alot more......ITS FREAKIN STAR WARS!!!!!
