It has been one year since the death of Deac Starkiller, and his friends have carried on with their lives. His successor, Elveron Starkiller has yet to acheive fame, but is known to Deac's old friends.
Recently he has had nightmares about Syrnl Darkstar and Deac, along with a strange other man. These nightmares haven't been eased by rumours of Syrnl Darkstar appering again.
Elveron calls all those who knew Deac to a meeting near the Core Worlds, where Syrnl was last seen. Maybe the prophecy of the return, the dead chosen rising again to fight at Armeggedon has come to pass, and now is the time for that apocalypse....

Elveron sits, reading a heavy book, waiting for the others to arrive. He hopes they will come. He doesn't want to go alone.
