When I say this, I truly mean it. When someone like TVS comes up with this really good-sounding game, adding a few suggestions, and he quits, does that sound really good? I am not so sure he should be on SCN punk if he can't finish a scenario, no matter how difficult. I never make a scenario unless I am absoloutely sure I want to make it, and will never stop it, but I may put it off.
It wasn't exactly addressed just to stan, it was to vamp himself, and anyone else that would like to read it.
Then why is the topic "Stan"? ;)
I simply do not have time to finish the whole version with everything else I have to do. I have a life, you know. Plus the demos weren't doing very well, not many people played the game. It just wasn't worth my time to make a 2000 trigger scenario for a bunch of people who could care less about it. I released the game with 3 players completed, so its not like I made the game for nothing, people can still play it. However, my The Phantom Menace campaign is not canceled and I will continue working on it.
Besides, 8 players will lag ALOT ;).
6 players ain't bad, but at least call it a full version, so it doesn't sound like you just quit. If you played the MP battle of Hoth, you know that could be duplicated in about 2 hours, but I worked on it amaybe 30 minutes a week.
I released the last version as "King of Turrets" without the demo in the title.
2000 triggers with a trigger system with no copying triggers will take a lot longer than 2 hours ;).
Took me about 2 months just to finish 3 players. And I would work on it all day.
