how do you get max out of the dunk the beast thingy?
i cant find out how to use the golf clubs, or to golf at all

and i heard most people do the thing with the plastic fish before that, but i didnt, will this screw up my game?

No, you can't get stuck. I'm not sure how much to reveal, but to golf, you must click the flag on where you want to hit the ball once the buttons in the corners show up... then golf.
But just visit the locations that Max wasn't around before once you get him out.

Actually i've gotten stuck there before! you had to get the fish from fish world before Conroy Bumpus had max tossed into the dunking booth. Max won't let you leave to go get the fish. But if you do start a new game: all you have to do is use the bucket o' fish on the bucket o' golfballs and start playing. you need to use the little flag/cursor to choose where to hit. You need to line up the alligators (so you can walk across them) by hitting the fish in just the right place, it might take a while.
The point was to NOT give the entire thing away...

I have a sickening addiction to walkthroughs. I actually have asked people to hit me if they catch me reading one. They completely ruin the game!
Actually the solution is working for me.
BTW, if you need help without ruining the game get a UHS file reader, and a SNM UHS file.
