The plates in Belgium are by the following format: 'XYZ-123


today I saw 'GFN-001' and two blocks further away I saw 'GFC-675'

The GFN-001 one was a black mercedes and a big ornage demon was driving it

Why are you so happy about seeing license plates in that format?
License plates in Hungary are in the same format.
I dunno if you guys like cars, but I can show u pics of a car type you havent even heard of! Its Eastern German made (NDK)

It's not the format, it's those particular letters. GFN = Grim Fandango Network. GFC = Grim Fandango Central.
