About 1.2 hours ago I started a match on the zone with some guy and the rules were basically what everyone has:no mon...
So everythings going fine....built up my bases, 75 troops, most research is complete....(all this took me a darn while)....then he resigns...

What a freakin waste of 1.2 hours....gee I would like to kick that guys a**....I absolutely cant stand people that quit games...I am a bit more tolerant if its at the start...but after that long it just becomes annoying....
I know he didnt get disconnected as when I went back into the zone straight afterwards he was there on another table...

Has this happened to anyone else...(playing for such a long period of time then someone resigning?)

The best solution is most often to refrain from playing with them again. "If you can't play fair, don't play me." Personally, I have a text file called the "Eagle's list", in which I put players whom I will not play again. An example (and the only entry in the list):

List entry
Kane156 -Location: Zone, Galactic Battleground Trial
-Events: 1
-Charged for:

-EVENT 1-
Hosted a game with a password. Gave
password to the players. Launched inappropriate remarks,
then booted the players and changed the password.
Exited the room shortly after.

To say it another way, I'll stay away from games hosted by Kane156. I'm not adding people who beat me etc. to the list, though, only those who really do things they shouldn't do. You can safely kick my butt and I will still play you again (for revenge, you know :D). I know this might sound strict, but it contains, as I mentioned, only the 'bad guys', so I guess it's okay.

I also consider making a list of people I've beaten, and a list of people who beat me, also featuring what strategy was used and what went wrong :p. That way, I'm recording my battle experience. I won't publish it, though :).

It's not really a program...it's just a text file.

You just type up your own report in an editor (Like Word or Notepad) and then save out the file.

Open it back up to add more to it, etc...
