Matt Wilson was telling me earlier that Fox might be leaning more towards 4Kids or Sony for their soon-to-be-leased-out Saturday morning block, but Nelvana is still in the running. Just though I'd let y'all know :)

That would be expecially nice, if Sam & Max came back on the air even for a month or two.

It's probably been said and I just didn't pay attention at STISH, but would it be reruns or new shows?

I don't think a TV show for Fox Kids could ever match up to the comic, though, as I said, maybe if it was on plain ol' Fox, crude humor would be a bit more acceptable.

As far as I know, reruns of the original one season that ran on Fox Kids in '97-98.

THere's no way it could be a bad idea.

What could make it better would be having it on the Midnight Run on Cartoon Network, so theycan put the filthy humor that we all love from the REAL Sam and Max. None of the kiddy kiddy jokes. That would be really cool.

Hmmm, I know I only saw Sam and Max once when it was on TV... and I hardly remember anything about it.. but I think it was supposedly over-budget or a pain to fund...... I don't recall.. it's animation was done extremely fluently... if they're ever going to make new episodes... they should be done as fluently as the old ones.. with the aid of the jokes we've come to love from the comics.

but here's a fun little fix.

That flash animation is great! I laughed so hard the first time I saw it. Sam's reactions are all hilarious.

Hmmm, I forget where I heard of it from.. most likely STISH or the Unofficial... either way, it's great.

That was INSANELY awesome. Truely the great work of Steve Purcell. Can't get any better than that. Well, yes it could... if they talked... Well, can't ask for everything. Kick Ass.

Yeah, I'd love to see Sam & Max on Midnight Run or Adult Swim.

Yeah, because then, we'd watch it because it's REALLY good, not only becuase it's Sam and Max. The show isn't the same as the game or comics, but it SHOULD be! I know it will be equivalent once he turns a cat inside out. That's all I need...

Some episodes of the show were quite good. Aieeee, Robot! is a notable example, in my mind at least.

"My ability to read japanese is sadly lacking, Max. Are you sure that was a milk truck?"
"You wanted milk??"
*baby's head explodes*

Classic!

I liked to laugh at the fact that it was unacceptible for Sam to say something like "What the hell are you talking about, Max?", yet it was perfectly legal (and perhaps expected) that Max was able to carry around an AK and discharge it on a children's program. LOGIC?!

Kids aren't easily able to get an AK, but they sure as hell can say hell!

Yeah well, that's the way it's meant to be, so shut the hell up, or I'll kill you with my AK! ;)

Still a few new ones would be nice

Does Max ever have an AK? I thought they usually had either extreme weapons (bazooka) or silly unreal ones (futuristic spy type weaponry) to keep kids from hunting out and discharging identical weapons found militant pa's bedroom closet.

You mean television episodes??? Noooooooooo way. There were a good amount, but the average person at this forum saw only one or two. I saw part of one, that's it.

They saw the light of day, just not on tape. All the episodes made, as far as I know, got aired more than once on Fox Kids. There are about 6 that haven't been put out on casette.
