It gives us some nice info about what the civs bonuses are for those that don't have the demo and can't view the tech tree. Anyway there are some discrepancies that I see. They have the Beta. I recall that the trade federation harvest carbon at -%20. But in this article it says -%25. Not sure whats that all about. There are others but I can't remember.
So here's is the link.
Gamespy's preview (

hehe did you read the part that while on Tatooine you can get shot at by Sand people? or steal a sand crawler and use it as a transport? thats cool
Is it just me or do the graphics from screenshots look significantly better than what i see on-screen myself in the demo ?
Are we in for a graphical surprise once the whole game ships ?
joy... :D
Well... Most of the screenshots we've seen are resized, so I dunno if we are or not.
can you have the sand crawler in the senario editor? i presume it is a transport.
aoe 2 had about 3 units and they where used for each side, okay maby a little more than three but swgb has many different units for each side! that makes it so much better
thanks for the info, i'll check it out later.
It's my experiance that finished products usally have significantly better graphics than their demos, but that is not always the case. I know that I will prefer the finished product's graphics though because the only resolution available on the demo is too small for me. Hurts my tired old eyes :)
"Visually, the beta is a bit strange in that it looks very grainy at 800x600 resolution, but improves dramatically at higher settings. LucasArts says that the graphics in the beta are "not final" so hopefully this area will be tightened up a bit before launch."
Straight outta the preview, so there's hoping here ....
The wandering creatures play more of a role in the game. For example, if you play on the desert world of Tantooine you can expect to run into Tusken Raiders (Sand People), who attack on sight, and you may even commandeer Sand crawlers, the big desert ships used by the Jawa in the original Star Wars. These fight for you and can even be used as a transport.
Combine that with this (

Does it sound as cool as I think it does?
Reading it now... wait a minute...
Well, the guy I think barely played the demo. He sounds like the guy that made that trashy review on another site earlier.
Yep, probably it will look better.
Gah... I was just about to post this! Thanx anyways, Tenor :)
