The cannons are only available in tech 4, and they are equivalent to the trebuchet in Aoe2, the best long range artillery weapon for taking down power cores, walls and towers.

I was flipping thru the aussie computer mag and they did a feature on GB and the screen shots showed a huge destroyer droid rolling and then another in attack mode.

That gigantic destroyer droid i surmised it to be the trade fed cannon looking at the tech tree and the concept drawings of the official site.

I can't wait to play the Trade Fed, or for that matter all of the units.

Wonder if anyone could find a pic of the Cannon in a screen shot

Its definately the laser cannon, i can't wait to see what all of them look like in action.

I guess the Trade Federation will have it's strengths in the 1st(Battle Droids) and 4th(Destroyer Droids) tech levels.
The Trade Federation and the Gungans might very well be the most interesting civs to play in the game.

yeah the trade feds rock, i cant wait to have them with sheilds in tech 4. it will be awsome

i'm not sure if they can generate shields themselves...

the screenshots i saw didn't show the green shield bar, only the yellow health on the destroyer droid units...

droid destroyers do have shield but only in tech level 4, i am pretty sure of that

What i really like about the units on display is their scale. The sight of those massive destroyer droids coming at you is really something. Just another thing why GB is different from AOK.

but then the destroyer droids freeze as a AT-AT hovers aheah,its a dangerous time for destroyer droids

but they HUGE destroyer droids, probably about the size of a AT-AT...

wonder when they start rolling, will they squash any troops (read: Jar Jar Binks) ;)

duh... u do not know the size of these destroyer droids...

anyway, they are cannons, not really destoyer droids

THOSE UU LOOK REALLY COOL.
BESERKERS HAVE THE BEST HP AND ATTACK THO.
