Dash has that outlaw style while kyle is that sort of western hero, not as outlawish as dash..I like Dash myself..but Han can woop em all
not even a good match Kyle would beat Dash Rendar's Ass any day with his Lightsaber and force powers. :)

being a jedi, Kyle is definately cooler. on the other hand i felt dash would have been a good alternative(non-force)character to kyle like han is to luke

hmmmm tough one NOT Dash Rendar is definately THE coolest but as has already been said hed get his ass kicked in a fight becoz hes sorta a pathetic fighter :p

Dash wasn't a pathetic fighter. He only died 'cause he crashed into some debris in a debris field (or was it an asteroid in an asteroid field?). That has nothing to do with fighting skills, that's piloting skills.
Kyle is more of an dark and edgier character. He's not a bad guy, but he's been a bad guy in the past (he IS an ex-imperial) I love that second cut-scene in Dark Forces when Mon Mothma is breifing him and he's just sitting there silently with a grimmace on his face. He's a bit like Clint Eastwood from a Fistfull of Dollars.
Dash is a Han Solo rip off with a dorky super hero costume and pilots a half rate Millenium Falcon wannabe.

First of all... if it was a no force fight. Dash would stand a good chance against Kyle. Second of all Dash Rendar is not a pathetic fighter... he has the fastest trigger finger this side of Tatooine.
Also I just thought I would point out that Dash Rendar did not die after the Skyhook battle. And I'm not basing this on the ending of the game.
