What happened to ratings???

The staff decided to remove them. Ie : Jeff Walters.

They decided that it would only cause trouble, and most of the time people only voted good for friends, and voted bad for enemies. So any rating anybody got was just a reflection of how many friends or how many enemies they had here, not on post quality, dedication, or anything else like that.

I think that was the reasoning, anyway.

Yeah that was one of the main reasons. Also because they always caused arguments. When the forums first went up we said they would :) .

Good that they were removed, they were only going to cause more trouble

i disabled my own ratings when i say all the arguments.

Thank goodness, it's finally gone. I can't believe The developers of UBB thought that was a good idea.

Hey Wardz, at least I have good ideas sometimes. Its not my fault i love this site. Anyway, go over to
Klingon Academy (http://www.klingonacademy.com). Some of those people have got about 5000 posts, and nobody says anything to them because everyone wants to get a good conversation going. If you lot posted more then we would get an interesting conversation going. Thats why these are called discussion boards.
