Am I supposed to know a bunch of stuff before I join a game? I just kinda joined, then saw all this stuff about +3 this and +2 that. What do I need to know? And I want some help, not arrogant, condescending remarks, please.
for one thing u just cant kinda join u hafta get a character made and all those numbers (u just kinda let the gm take care of that

Yes you should know a few things before you just join in, please read some of the other threads in this fourm. They have a lot of info in them.
No you really don't have to worry about the numbers to much, I take care of all the rolls in the background, the only think you need to really know is that the higher the number the better you are at some skill.
Kvan is are man here that is great at helping people make pc's.

Y'know, there are some real jerks in these forums, but there are some real nice dudes, too.
I'm not sure what kind of alien I wanna be. I'd like to be somebody with modest combat skills, and who is a great Jack-of-all-trades repairman. I don't need to be a padawan, or have great weapons skills. I like Force Pikes, though they're not all that powerful.

It sounds like the Finger class is what you want. They are Jack-of-all-Trades.
Any Alien you can think of we have to play as. What alien species do you like in SW?

Anyways, i wanted modest attack too, i wanted to be more of a finesse and skill type player. It is much more fun IMO than straight out fighting everything in sight.

If you want to be sneaky and like Tie, be a scout.
I would probably like to be a Sakiyan, cuz they're stealthy have incredible vision, and can track by scent.
If not that, then probably a Stennes Shifter, who are extremely stealthy, though they look like they've been dead for a few weeks.
