To me, it just looks like you just darkened the textures, but I'm not going to crucify you for that.
Perhaps you'll increase the resolution of the melee weapons, rifles, and pistols. I'd certainly download that.
I'd say the wookiee, the rodian, and the Black Vulkaar are waaay too dark, IMO.
How much time have you spent on each of the skins?
So far very little with most. But with some, like the Darth Malak, Darth Bandon, and Calo skins, I've spent some time on them. This mod isn't going to be released until near the end of summer. Maybe even after that.
Yeah, it looks like you just upped the contrast for at least two of them. The others I can't say I see the difference.

He might not but I will! :dev14:
Serious stuff: I agree the pic do look like you just darkened the tetures but we will see.
Good quality skins takes hours to make each one. To really improve the look of the game you would need to scale up the texture, and remake it from scratch.
IMO, only Drewton and Xarwarz are capable of those feats on such a large scale.

Who? I don't think I've seen them post anything on the forums ever.

Because you haven't been here very long... Drewton is the master of high-res textures while Xarwarz is an incredible from-scratch texturer.
I say take your time and figure out how you want it to look to capture your audience my first kotor mod wasn't great by far i was more enthusiastic than actually looking at it from anthers perspective but with years of training my self i think kotor 2012 mod came out the best one yet.
In short changing graphics of entire games takes time, dedication, effort, and patience.

Same.
I like your idea of making the game a better graphical experience. But instead of reskinning everything I would first go for things like the weapons, since there is nothing out there (to my knowledge) that reskins every single weapon in the game. You could release this as a package/installment of your mod and then move to another "category" of the game, like the civilian npcs on Taris and Tatooine or something similar.
This is just my opinion, but I think it would (1) allow you to refine your skills and (2) give you a better outline of what needs to be done to complete the mod.
I agree, take time to work on your skills before taking on a huge challenge. (Flashbacks to first days on forum ensueing now ) The approach of making it in sections is a good idea and I suggest you follow that. Good luck, keep trying and in time you may be as good as Xarwars or Drewton. (I feel like an idiot for not knowing them, i've looked at some of their mods, tons of times and it just didn't click.)
