I have 3dsmax 2010 and was having problems with the nwmax script from nwnvault for 3dsmax v6 through v8 so I tried using the gmax only script. The gmax only script seems to work except for that after it gets done "exporting" there is still no file. I understand that it is supposed to be for gmax only but for all intensive purposes it works better than the one designed for 3dsmax. Any ideas why this is would be fantastic. Thanks.

I'm guessing that NWmax version 8 for 3dsmax6 - 8 just doesn't work for 2010 for some reason or another. I've downloaded 2011 and it works fine once you change the case of the folders to match what the script looks for because it is case sensitive. Just fyi if you have the same problem and find this thread looking for an answer.

P.s. if you are a student you can make a student account at autodesk and download their programs with educational license that will last about three years. Just fyi if you want more functionality than gmax can give. :thmbup1:
