while reading the forums I saw that it's not possible to create new lightsaber forms without replacing existing ones. if someone were to do that, they'd have to change the scripts in-game to assign the custom ones?

Still, I'll indulge you a bit: I can say with 95% certainty that the force forms are in k_inc_force.nss.
